This one is a Super-Heroine, the design is very simple but it was really just meant to be a generic character.

The comic was about the four horsemen of the apocalypse but as mercenaries, this was part of the concept art for War.

Evaluation (Unit 72)

Unit 72 Evaluation

For this unit we had to create concept art for an idea of ours. I chose to do character concept art for my idea, the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse as biblical mercenaries.

There were a lot of things that went poorly during this unit, for example, attempting to draw the female character went so poorly I ended up scrapping the drawing altogether and thus ended up wasting a lot of time for nothing, which resulted in me not having much time for the rest of my work.

I'm also not happy with the final result for the drawing I kept, as a lot of proportions were incorrect and the line art itself wasn't very good, and wish I had had more time to dedicate to it.

There were some things that went well though, for example, I learned how to use some of the functions available with digital drawing that I previously did not know how to use properly. I also got better at drawing digitally while doing work for this unit.

If I could do this unit again I would dedicate more time to drawing my character work, and practice more before I went straight into drawing my final piece, I'd also try to get distracted less by friends and other projects.

Overall I wouldn't consider this project a success personally, I don't think my final piece was very good. The only positive from this unit was that I learned a fair amount about digital drawing with a tablet.
